The results of the ninth Automobile Vacancies Fair (2007)

 

The ninth Automobile Vacancies Fair opened its doors again to meet everybody who wants to find job in automobile business sphere. The Fair is held traditionally twice a year.   This time about one thousand people came in their search for some promising job. The organizers - human resources agency «Autokadr» - tried to make the fair as much useful for both participating companies and candidates as possible. Visitors had a possibility to have an interview at the most well-known auto business companies immediately and the companies in their turn could find and select some experienced personnel as well as those who were without previous experience but eager to study and work in auto business.

What about the companies itself we have to mark that the ninth Automobile Vacancies Fair was attended by a range of big companies which have been holding leading positions in automobile business for a long time. Among them were the following:  Avtomir, AvtoSpetsCenter, Еxist,  Nezavisimost, Volvo, Genser, Musa Motors, Sim, Scania, Alea Group, Tekhstroycontract, Rolf,  Vebasto Rus, Simex Service, Mercedes-Benz Rus, U Service+,  YungHeinrich,  Jeep Auto Klondike, 100 Roads. The companies offered to competitors their presentations and so every candidate could choose a company to the own liking.
Competitors were offered a number of different specialties from service positions to top management team. Students of their third and fourth study year were given a unique chance to work on probation with prospects to be hired in the future at the most well-known companies and to learn a lot about different aspects of automobile business.
The Fair was visited by nine hundred and seventy-seven potential candidates.  Six hundred and ninety-three of them were experienced specialists and two hundred and eighty-four were students of different higher education institutions and colleges. Such a number of experienced professionals attended the Fair due to the thorough preparation work conducted by the team of «Autokadr» and due to the fact that the event had been really well announced in different information sources.
Sales manager position traditionally became the most popular specialty –  two hundred and twenty-two candidates,  the second place was taken by technical specialties – one hundred and eighty candidates. The next line in the listing was occupied by candidates who claimed to a leader position – fifty-six competitors.

Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (State Technical University) gave the biggest number of students who visited the Fair – ninety-four visitors. The second place was taken by the Moscow State Technical University – about the future career thought twenty-one its students. The third place was taken by Moscow State Agricultural Engineering University by the name of Goryachkin – nineteen candidates.   As it can be seen from statistics the Fair is being visited by graduates from different automobile colleges too.

Smiles on the faces of the companies' representatives made it easy to understand that the ninth specialized Automobile Vacancies Fair was successful. It could be confirmed by the opinions expressed after the finish of the Fair:
Natalie Proshina – the leading personnel manager of the «Sim» company:
«The expectations proved to be true! The candidates in finance were found, the candidates to take over some leaders positions too and that's really important, specialists in logistics for technical centers».
Anna Zaytseva – a head of the recruiting department of the «Musa Motors» company:
«We were pleased by the event organization and the fact that it was customer-oriented (active help in stand construction, coffee-break and so on). Most candidates had previous experience in auto business. In general - thanks a lot! It's really nice to collaborate with Autokadr».
Sergey Lachko – a head of the personnel department of the «Exist» company:
«I'd like to notice the real care that Autokadr managers took during all the preparation, comfortable and productive atmosphere and a coffee-break. The event organization improved notably. Content with everything».
Catherine Turkovskaya – personnel manager of the «Genser» company:
«Everything was good - good sound, coordination between organizers, participants and employers, coffee-break. Just one request– to maintain this level!».

«The fair was organized extremely well. I was impressed by the number of candidates who visited the fair. I'd suggest to make up some lottery or something like that to attract competitors to companies».

For those candidates who hesitated in their strength the representatives of the training company «Vershitel» conducted a cognitive training course on the subject «How to pass an interview correctly». Many candidates got important information not just about where they can find job but how to do it correctly too.
The next Automobile Vacancies Fair will take place in November. All the persons interested in could participate.
